DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
FROM THE EAST: I-10 WEST turns into Pacific Coast Highway after you go through the McClure Tunnel (you will see the ocean). Continue heading north towards Malibu. At the fourth traffic light, Chautauqua Boulevard intersects Pacific Coast Highway. Make a right up the hill, noting that the two lanes immediately merge into one. Approximately 30 seconds later, on your left you will see a private driveway marked 203/205. Proceed past that driveway for about 5 seconds and you will see a street named Corona Del Mar. Make a left. Please park on Corona Del Mar and walk down to the driveway marked 203/205. The Eames House is at the end of this driveway.
FROM THE WEST: Pacific Coast Highway heading south from Malibu intersects Chautauqua Boulevard. Make a left at the light and drive up the hill, noting that the two lanes immediately merge into one. SUNSET BOULEVARD, HEADING WEST: Note: Highway construction at Sunset Boulevard and the 405 Highway is expected to cause long traffic delays through 2012. From the 405 Highway, go about 5.1 miles, then turn left onto Chautauqua Boulevard. Go approximately 0.8 miles and turn right onto Corona Del Mar. Please park on Corona Del Mar and walk down Chautauqua Boulevard for a few minutes to the driveway marked 203/205. The Eames House is at the end of this driveway.
BUS DIRECTIONS:
From Santa Monica: Take the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus #9 from Santa Monica until the intersection of Corona Del Mar and Chautauqua Boulevard. After getting off the bus, carefully cross the street and head down the hill on Chautauqua Boulevard for a few minutes to the driveway marked 203/205. The Eames House is at the end of this driveway. From downtown Los Angeles: Take the Santa Monica Freeway Express Bus #10 to Broadway and 4th Street in Santa Monica. On 4th Street at Broadway, transfer to the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus #9, which will stop at the intersection of Corona Del Mar and Chautauqua Boulevard. After getting off the bus, carefully cross the street and head down the hill on Chautauqua Boulevard for a few minutes to the driveway marked 203/205. The Eames House is at the end of this driveway.
