When asked how the Foundation can keep the Eames legacy relevant to future generations, Charles’ daughter Lucia Eames explained: “Our mission statement is to preserve and maintain the house and create educational experiences that draw from the work of Charles and Ray. But I really felt (when establishing the Foundation) that the house is the keystone. If it can be secured, then I hope it will be like the center of the sun radiating out, enticing people who are interested in new ways of communicating. This can take different forms…”

Help us to preserve the Eames House for the future, as we focus on projects ranging from detailed inventories/condition assessments to oral histories of those who saw how the House and grounds were lived in and nurtured. And help us to share the Eameses’ approach to life and work via tours, exhibits and talks.
The Foundation is looking for people to share our excitement and to help us build this legacy. Assist us in creating the groundwork for the future, by discussing how your donations can be the most meaningful to both the Foundation and to you. Of course, we gratefully appreciate any amount that works for you!
We look forward to meeting you and discussing how you can become a part of the Eames legacy. Please feel free to contact Lucia Dewey Atwood, Board Member, at email@example.com, or click below to donate.
